Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6PM at the borough building @ 503 Green Valley St.

IMPORTANT NOTICE


On May 21st, 2026 Lorain Borough adopted ordinance 1-2026 regarding door-to-door solicitation.  All businesses wanting to door-to-door solicit must obtain a permit from the borough office for a fee of $100.00 per month.  We highly encourage that all residents that do not want solicitors to put up appropriate signage on their property and also contact the Johnstown Police Department to report solicitors.


Please note the following are exempt from this:

  • children under 18 are exempt from this for any type of fundraising they may be doing
  • political canidates
